The CAACI is the statutory body
responsible for aviation regulatory
oversight throughout the Cayman
Islands and for aircraft registered
on the Cayman Islands Aircraft
Registry. The Authority is comprised
of various divisions that
specifically regulate and license
aerodromes, aviation personnel,
aircraft maintenance organizations,
conduct aircraft airworthiness
surveys and provide commercial and
economic regulation and maintain the
Cayman Islands Aircraft Registry.
With qualified staff we are
dedicated to providing regulatory
oversight to ensure the safety of
the Cayman Islands aviation industry
and for aircraft listed on the
Cayman Islands Aircraft Registry.
The aircraft registry is the
registry of choice for many owners
and management companies with
corporate aircraft ranging from
Cessna Citation, Gulf stream,
Embraer, Airbus and Boeing Business
Jets. Standards are rigid and
specifications exact to qualify, but
this has lead to the register being
highly respected and recognized
throughout the aviation industry
internationally. Expertly qualified
airworthiness surveyors inspect
aircraft annually in their home
bases for ease and convenience. To
ensure compliance with ICAO
standards and mandates our head
office is located on Grand Cayman
with a subsidiary office in
Brighton, United Kingdom.
Our strategic focus is as follows, ensuring aviation safety
through regulatory excellence and
building on key principles of
partnership.
Sustainability, safety of the
traveling public/airports/property,
obligations to maintain
international standards, procedures
and human resource
competence/proficiency. Our mission
statement is to provide sustainable
regulatory procedures to meet
international aviation standards.
Through committed partnerships, the
CAACI will maintain the safety of
persons & property. With our
corporate values identified as the
following, first and foremost safety
should characterize the reason that
we are in business, ensuring safety
in the aviation industry. Excellence
is to be characteristic of
everything that the CAACI undertakes
to do. Regulatory objectivity is to
conduct the primary responsibility
with objectivity and sensibility.
Partnerships strive to develop
positive beneficial partnerships
both internal to the organization
(internal customers, staff members,
board of directors, to each other)
and external to the organization
(with customers, clientele,
associates, colleagues, etc).
Integrity should be an underlying
value for all our activities;
conduct of staff at all times should
reflect integrity.
